REMINDER REGARDING COMPLIANCE WITH FINANCIAL REGULATIONS
This letter serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to the financial regulations set by the University in managing research projects.
- As a researcher, it is your responsibility to ensure that all financial activities related to your project are conducted in accordance with the financial regulations and laws of the University and the Ministry of Finance Malaysia (MOF), as well as the Grant Guidelines. This include but not limited to procurement, expenditure, and asset management, and the meticulous preparation of financial reports in accordance with the established guidelines.
- Compliance with these financial regulations is crucial to maintaining the integrity of the research project and ensuring continued funding and support. Non-compliance can lead to serious consequences, including financial penalties and loss of funding.
- In the event of an investigation and if you are found guilty, the following actions may be taken:
- Warning;
- Fine;
- Forfeiture of emoluments;
- Suspension of salary movement;
- Salary reduction;
- Demotion; and
- Termination.
- Therefore, I urge you to pay serious attention to this matter.

Thank you for your attention to this matter and your continued commitment to the excellence in University research.
