2.   We are pleased to inform you that the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites any interested researchers to apply for the SCOPE-HE Academic Connectivity grant. This grant is offered by the EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package – Higher Education Programme (SCOPE-HE), which is funded by the European Union (EU) and aims to enhance exchange and collaboration in higher education, research, and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The program is implemented by the Dutch Organisation for Internationalisation in Education (Nuffic) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
3.   The SCOPE-HE Academic Connectivity grant, as part of SCOPE-HE, is open to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) from ASEAN countries and the European Union (EU). The cluster leader will coordinate a cluster composed of four (4) to six (6) institutions, and together they will design and implement academic collaboration activities across regions (e.g., mobility for PhD students, researchers, and staff; curriculum reviews; engagement activities; and publications). Important information regarding the grant and application is as follows:
- Number of available grants: 3
- Maximum amount per grant: €545,000
- Funding period: January 2025 to December 2027 (3 years)
- Submission deadline: 14 November 2024
