The France-Malaysia Collaboration Programme for Joint Research 2025 (MyTIGER) is now Open for Application.
The France-Malaysia collaboration programme for joint research 2025 (MyTIGER) is a joint funding programme that aims at structuring and stimulating research cooperation between France and Malaysia. MyTIGER is an initiative by the Embassy of France to Malaysia to continue supporting bilateral cooperation in research after the successful implementation of PHC-Hibiscus (2019 and 2020) and MATCH (2021), in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE). MyTIGER is based on a call for projects, an independent evaluation process, the selection of projects guided by common interests and ambition for excellence. The call is open to all areas, including social sciences and humanities; through its first three editions, no less than 25 projects have been financially supported.
Important Dates:
• 10th April 2025 – Deadline for submission of proposals
• 30th July 2025 – Funding decisions announced
• September-October 2025 – Grant agreements are signed
• October – November 2025 – Launch of the projects
Application Procedure:

Applications must include all the requested documents.

They must be submitted by the PI in France as a unique PDF file (<5Mo) to the e-mail address: scac.kuala-lumpur-amba@diplomatie.gouv.fr with valerie.barbosa@diplomatie.gouv.fr as well as the Project Manager for Malaysia copied (cc).

Important Information
The grants required a matching grant by a Malaysian institution in which the PI from Malaysia holds a permanent or fixed-term (2 years minimum) position. Therefore, the application must undergo the collaborative grant (previously called as matching grant) procedure before RMC UTM can sign the Financial Commitment Form.
