On 18th December 2025, the Research Management Centre (RMC), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), had the pleasure of hosting senior officers from Uni-Technologies Sdn. Bhd. (UTSB), led by their CEO, Sr. Ts. Dr. Nor Hafizi Hj. Md. Lani. The visit marked the presentation of a cash donation, officially received by RMC Director Prof. Dr. Zulkurnain Abdul Malek.
The event was witnessed by UTSB officer, Mr. Nahar bin Mohamad, Senior Executive (Legal & Corporate), along with RMC representatives: Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Zaki Yamani Zakaria (Deputy Director – Project Management & Monitoring ), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ezza Syuhada Sazali (Deputy Director – Research University & Impact), Puan Saidatul Akmal Abdul Hamid (Deputy Registrar), Puan Mazlinda Wati Razali (Head of Finance Division), Puan Nur Ardawati Adnan (Senior Assistant Registart) Cik Asiah Tukirin (Head of Project Monitoring Section) and Puan Nur Fatimah Marwar (Head of Project Management Section).
This generous contribution not only supports UTM’s R&D initiatives but also aligns with compliance under the Double Tax Deduction (DTD) scheme, Section 34B of the Income Tax Act 1967.
